Town Budget Information:

For FY 2015-16, the Town spent over $22,000 to place legal notices in the various local newspapers.  The types of notices included public hearings, town meetings, ordinance changes, the town budget, invitations for bids and RFQ/P’s, and eviction notices.  In addition, the Town expends both financial resources and personnel hours relative to the storage of items that are left behind when someone is evicted. Relief from these mandates and others would assist in easing the financial burden placed on towns like Guilford.
