Henry Whitfield Museum “Hands On Tour”

Guilford, CT – Museum Curator Michael McBride will lead a special tour of Connecticut’s oldest house at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 12th. Visitors will have the opportunity to handle reproductions of museum collection items to better understand how the originals were made and used. Highlighted items will include an iron toaster in the Great Hall, a wooden bed key in the East Chamber, a bootjack in the North Chamber, and a powder horn in the Garret.
$6 admission to the tour also includes self-guided tours of the Visitor Center hands-on galleries and the Education Building displays. Admission is free for children ages 12 and younger.
